Victoire Ferrari was born in Paris as the daughter of a dancing master known as monsieur Henri. From the age of seven she studied the piano under a teacher named Kreusser, probably this was Peter Anton Kreusser or his brother George Anton Kreuzer. Later Johann Baptist Cramer was her teacher. From 1792 she lived in London.

When she was nine years old she played for Haydn and when she was eleven years old she played for the Prince of Wales. On 15 May 1700 she made her public debut in London in Willis's Rooms. In 1804 she married the composer Giacomo Ferrari (1763-1842). Their son Angelo was born in 1807 and became a musician.

Victoire often performed her husband's compositions, but after her marriage she mainly focussed on work as a singing teacher. The marriage broke down in the early 1810s. Ferrari moved to Edinburgh and Victoire to Brighton. There she was a succesful singing teacher to pupils from the upper classes until a least 1823. She died in 1849.
